Dimmer Light Installation in Farnham – Full Lighting Control Upgrade

We recently carried out a dimmer light installation in Farnham, upgrading standard switches to modern dimmer controls to give the homeowner greater flexibility and atmosphere control.

The Installation

This project involved removing the existing switch setup and installing compatible LED dimmer modules.

When upgrading to dimmers, it’s important to ensure:

• The dimmer module is suitable for LED lighting

• The total wattage load is correct

• The wiring configuration (including any multi-way switching) is properly identified

• Connections are safely terminated and tested

As shown in the images, careful wiring and correct module selection are essential to ensure smooth dimming without flicker or buzzing.

All connections were securely installed within the back box, and the circuit was fully tested before being returned to service.

The result is a clean, modern switch plate with smooth dimming performance — allowing the homeowner to instantly change the feel of the room.
